Varun Dhawan started doing great work and no one noticed

Varun Dhawan is the son of director David Dhawan. The actor started working in some comedy films like Judwaa 2, Dishoom and Main Tera Hero which were bad in general and weird in particular. The actor was ridiculed for doing slapstick comedy films which were either below the belt or demeaning women in some way.

The actor took heed of the criticism that came his way and worked in some amazing movies that has made him the talk of the town. His work in movies like October and Sui Dhaaga are a sign that he is on the right track. With so many movies being made today, and Varun’s acting chops we can expect this actor to take his place alongside his peers and here are our reasons why:

3. Acting

Varun has worked on his acting and the same can be seen in October. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the movie is a tale of a girl and her journey. Varun worked so well alongside the new comer Banita Sandhu that it was a breathtaking experience. While he did receive support from an amazing cast, his work can definitely confirm that he is on the right track.

2. Movies

After doing movies like Dishoom and Judwaa 2 he was considered going the path that worked well in the 90’s and also in movies that showed women in bad way. Do you remember the spanking scene in Judwaa and it’s sequel? While it may not have made people think in 90’s, the audience these days is very particular in the content they see on platforms, and if the actors choice after the slapstick or weird movies can be seen, we can be sure that he is on the right track.

1. Presentation

The actor has presented his last two movies in the best way possible. When we talk about presentability, we don’t mean the movie, but the promotion in general. If you take a look at the way he presented and promoted the movies, it didn’t sound like he was trying to push it down our throats, and that’s the best way.
You let the audience decide, while you give them a preview of your work.
