5 things that disappoint about Dhadak Trailer

Dhadak, the movie that is produced by Karan Johar, Zee Studios among many others is a rip-off or the way we call it in Bollywood, re-make/inspired from Sairat.

While the Marathi movie was a raging success, the Bollywood version is a pathetic take on the great movie. The movie definitely launches Janhvi Kapoor, the daughter of the greatest diva in Bollywood, Sridevi. It is a shame that the trailer couldn't instill fans with a zeal to watch it in theaters. The comments below the trailer speak for itself.

While we wouldn't go into comments, here are 5 things about the trailer, that disappointed us:

5) 'Zingaat' is Dead

Do you remember the song 'Zingaat' from the Marathi movie ' Sairaat'? It was a foot tapping number that would make you want to dance every split second that it played. The trailer tried to buy on that tapping number, by including some parts of it in the trailer.

While for some, Zingaat was a turn-on to dance, the song in trailer is a definite 'turn-ff'. It doesn't have that finesse or that beauty. We will have to wait for it to be released.

4) Too Much Melodrama

If you have seen the trailer, you would be aware of the scene in the image above. While such a scene never existed in the original masterpiece by Nagraj Manjule, it has to be included in the movie, because this is Bollywood, you see.

Till the time, their is no melodrama, the movie won't sell, be it, Ishaan slapping Janhvi or this scene above. It is pathetic to see Dharma Productions use such melodramatic levels to tell their story.

Get a life, Dharma, Get a life.

3) No Creativity

Look at the contrasting posters of both movies, on the right is the original, while the re-make is on the left. It is clear that not only did the original try to keep to subtle, yet classy, Dharma Productions movie had to showcase what's not real.

The poster might sound lively, according to normal Bollywood belief, but if you watch it closely, their seems to be a lack of creativity in the poster too, let alone movie.

2) Negative Reviews

Do we even need to say anything? This is not just one, but one among many set of comments that have been bestowed upon the trailer. Indeed, Janhvi Kapoor seems to be expression less, unlike her mother, who was a powerhouse of expressions.

Why KJo, Why? She should be given a moment to showcase her skills, whereas, she looks like absolutely no-body and expression less. Now, don't tell us, she cried, because we know that glycerin can do the trick.

1) Presenting Ishaan... Really?

What is the term 'presenting' used for? Well, when we are launching someone? We believe that Ishaan already got his launch through the great director Majid Majidi's movie: Beyond the Clouds this year, so the editor must be cautious and remove this tag, but instead, he thought of eating up on the hype, and make it look important and presentable.

Poor work, dear editor.
