Thugs Of Hindostan - Official Trailer Review


YRF released the most awaited trailer of the movie,'Thugs Of Hindostan,' and let me be the first one to say that it looks grandeur. The trailer and the characters may look like 'Pirates of Carribean,' but the story dates back to 1795, and this makes a big difference in the story in its entity.

While we all awaited the trailer, a lot of factors are a hit while the others are a big miss. Discussing what works and what doesn't here's my review of the trailer:

Worked

1. The Storyline




The trailer has revealed a bit about the storyline, but it also lets you keep guessing on what may work or may not for the actors. The two main male actors in the movie are Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, while Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh are also a part of the story, and in the trailer, you are left guessing.

The best part about a trailer is to entice people and spark conversations, and this trailer achieves that goal.

2. The Characters




YRF knew that fans were anxiously waiting for the characters, and so in an attempt to make it look even better, they revealed them days before the trailer release.

This enticed the fans and made them speculate about what may be in store for them when the trailer released. Now that it is revealed to the public, we can only see a huge rush towards the trailer.

3. The Sound




The music in the trailer is intriguing, and it is a possibility that the same becomes a raging hit between fans after they start releasing the music of this movie.

Didn't Work

1. Katrina Kaif




Katrina Kaif has played as an item girl or just eye candy in most movies, and it seems like she may be the same in this movie too.

While this is subject to discussion and speculation because there isn't much revealed about her character in the trailer. She may be the surprise factor in the movie unless Fatima takes over.

2. Similarity to Pirates of the Carribean


The movie is considered as a scene by scene remake of POTC, and these memes are showcasing just that. It is important that the movie shuts them up with the work, and showcases a tale that can be talked about for years.

Surpise Factor

Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub


Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub is an actor that has given us stellar performances in every movie. From 'No One Killed Jessica' to 'Raanjhanaa' and even 'Raees,' the actor has put forth amazing performances.

His comic timing and attention to detail can be seen in every movie, and with him being a part of this epic movie, expect surprises and great performances.
