3 reasons why Soorma Trailer is inspiring


Soorma is the story of Indian hockey legend Sandeep Singh, who got back to playing hockey, after being attacked in a train on 22nd August, 2006. He was paralyzed from below waist, but this didn't stop him from working his way back into the hockey team and do his magic in the field again. The movie revolves around the inspiring journey of his rise, down fall and rise again to the hockey ground.

Here are 3 reasons why I believe the movie is bound to succeed:

3) Star cast

When you have the asardaar sardaar Mr. Diljit Dosanjh playing the powerful and determined Sandeep Singh, you know that the work done by him will be of top-notch and the trailer gives us an insight into that. The hockey moves by him are picture perfect.

Taapsee Pannu has worked in some wonderful movies over the last year, and she continues that with this amazing movie. We can only hope that the duo creates a magic that can be remembered for ever.

2) Sport

 Hockey as a sport has not been taken by many as a major sport. Most Indians, are born with the belief that if you don't play in the Indian Cricket Team, then it ain't worth trying for sports. The fact that Hockey is India's national game and a movie on the legend of the same is about to hit theaters is worth it to be watched.

1) Story

After being considered a no-body by his coaches to being a national player, then being hit by a bullet and coming back stronger than ever.

Everyone loves an underdog story and such stories really catch the eye of all, be it kids, adults or elderly.

This movie will definitely be worth a watch in theaters, thanks to its stellar cast and amazing story.
